PDF Cloak

What we process

Every PDF operation runs entirely in your browser using client-side JavaScript. Your files are never uploaded to a server. They are read into memory, processed by pdf-lib, and the output is handed back to you as a download. Once you close or refresh the tab, the data is gone.

What we count

We use Cloudflare edge analytics to count page views. This is a server-side measurement that does not use cookies, does not run a JavaScript beacon, and does not fingerprint your browser. We see aggregate traffic numbers and nothing more.

What we store

Nothing. PDF Cloak has no accounts, no databases, and no cookies. The only value written to your browser is a daily operation counter in localStorage, which resets every 24 hours and contains no personal information.

Open source

The PDF processing library we use (pdf-lib) is licensed under Apache 2.0. Our source code is public so you can verify every claim on this page yourself.
